Sign in, find your site, and get your bearings on the map, timeline and dock panels.
A short orientation for anyone opening SimOops for the first time. This section is being written — the headings below outline what it will cover.
Signing in
Every user — staff, coordinators and contractors — signs in through the same secure login. Once you're in, you land on the site you most recently worked on.
The map
The site plan is the centre of everything: work areas, zones, plant, deliveries and people are all drawn in their real positions. Pan, zoom and switch floors to move around it.
The timeline
A site is a moving thing, so SimOops is time-aware. The scrubber along the bottom sets the moment you're looking at; everything on the map reflects who and what is on site then.
Panels and the dock
The dock down the side opens focused panels — the entity browser, properties, the noticeboard, site maps, imports and reports — one keystroke each.
