The authored narrative layer, and how it relates to the generated system reference.

This is the authored narrative layer of the SimOops docs — hand-written prose that sits alongside the generated system reference. The reference spines (the Site browser glossary, the decision record, the clash-rule catalogue, the API) are generated from source at build time and never hand-edited. These narrative pages are the opposite: they are written by a person, and reviewed through the same integrity gate that checks the spines.

The point of keeping both in one site is that narrative can link into and embed the generated reference, so the prose and the source-of-truth never drift apart. When a narrative page mentions a domain term it links straight to the canonical definition, and when it needs to quote one it embeds the live spine data rather than paraphrasing it:
